Would love to see everyone tomorrow at Bootcamp. Come and challenger yourself. Here is a quick fit tip:

Be up for a challenge.

"WHEN LOSER WENT TO WASHINGTON, D.C., I RAN INTO BOB HARPER IN OUR HOTEL GYM. I WAS PSYCHED, THINKING, HE'S GOING TO SEE I'VE ALREADY GONE FOR 35 MINUTES ON THE TREADMILL! HE TAPPED ME ON THE SHOULDER AND SAID, 'YOU READY TO DO SPRINTS?' I SAID, 'BRING IT.' HE PUT HIS HANDS OVER MY MACHINE AND SAID, 'RUN. DON'T LOOK. I'LL TELL YOU WHEN TO STOP.' WE DID FIVE SPRINTS AT ALL DIFFERENT SPEEDS, ELEVATIONS AND LENGTHS, INCLUDING ONE 10-SECOND SPRINT AT 10 MPH AT 10 ELEVATION! I NEVER WOULD HAVE PUSHED MYSELF THAT HARD."

UPDATE ON THE BLOG

As you can see the last entry on this blog is from early 2010.

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Instead, I have started other websites, including a fitness website, where I did my blogging. I no longer have the other fitness website (I wanted to consolidate the two), so I'm now going to be solely focusing on this blog!

As you can see on the homepage, I will be restarting the classes in Aug. 2013. However, I wanted to post before that so here is a

1-MINUTE FITNESS TIP:


"It's time to deep-six the old advice to guzzle eight glasses of water a day. Your fluid needs fluctuate based on what you eat, whether you exercise, the medications you take, and your climate. A more reliable sign of healthy hydration: urine color. As long as it's clear or pale yellow, you're good."

New Exercise Schedule and New Location

We have moved our classes to "The Learning Playhouse" at 2809 N. Talley Road in Columbus.


Here is the schedule:


Kickboxing:


Monday and Thursday: 6:30 - 7:30 pm.


Just bring a towel or a mat since we do abs at the end of the class.


Fee is only $5/ class and you can pay as you come. Just deposit the money in the box. No membership fees. No monthly fees.

  • Same as usual

Lunch

  • Bread / butter / cheese
  • 1/2 pear

Snack

  • 1/2 cup of trail mix
  • 1 bread slice with butter

Dinner

  • 1 slice of bread and butter with 2 cheese slices
  • 1 whole wheat waffle with natural peanut butter
  • 1 yogurt
  • 1 mug of tea with 1 Splenda

I tried to post the last of my two journal entries before going on vacation.... however, my website was not cooperating with me... I couldn't log in.


So, here is the next to last entry in my Food Journal. This is for March 9, 2010


Breakfast

  • Same

Lunch

  • 1 vegetarian sausage patty sandwich with mayonaise
  • Sauerkraut
  • 3 miniture chocolates
  • Flavored water

Snack

  • 1/4 cup trail mix
  • Coffee with cream

Dinner

  • 2 sourdough rolls with butter
  • Flavored water

Snack

  • Plain yogurt with granola (1 cup)
  • 1 mug of chai tea (my favorite)
